The Inspiration from the Photographer, Tracey-Ann Jarrett:
Hitched Photo Lounge is not just a unique photo booth, it’s a lovely little Airstream ready to fulfill your desires. Whether it be a romantic dinner for two prepared by a private chef in a very special locale, a wonderful (unexpected) lounge at your next party or a romantic night of glamping before you’re off to your honeymoon. Your imagination holds the key to making this shiny little gem, pure magic. I dreamed of a wedding in the midst of nature. Why should our bride have to do the typical, getting ready at a nearby hotel? She can be in the heart of it all surrounded by nature in this comfy cozy little airstream. The perfect bridal dressing room; where a girl can be herself, to lounge and preen to her hearts content.
Abby Gallagher of Blue Orchid Events & Design brought together the different elements offered by each vendor seamlessly in a beautifully designed space. Abby’s incomparable eye for details and keen sense of design are fantastic. “The airstream was a smaller place to work, so it was important to create a comfortable, lush space for the bride to feel relaxed in; integrating light colors, soft textures, and engaging details.” ~Abby Gallagher [Blue Orchid Events & Design]
The bride received a beautiful curated gift from Love & Bisous. “Inspired by the unique boudoir photo shoot details, I wanted to curate a Love & Bisous gift box with romantic, soft elements, given by the bridesmaids to the bride-to-be. It was filled with sweet kisses, champagne bubbles and the elegance of a burning candle. Whimsical florals arranged in a pretty white mason jar and a heavenly handful of other delights to get swooningly lost in.” ~Kim Khan [Love & Bisous]
Looking for elopement inspiration? We are completely smitten with this dramatic mountain-top wedding getaway, set in Canada’s Rocky Mountains. With sweeping vistas, and totally surrounded by nature, we think a mountain elopement sounds like a perfectly romantic escape for any couple.
The Inspiration from photographer Lushana Bale:
The idea for this shoot came about on a cold February day while dreaming of Spring and mountain adventures. My friend, wedding planner Ashlie Metcalf, had recently moved out to Squamish (a small town about an hour north of Vancouver) so this was the perfect chance to create some mountain top wedding inspiration together. I really wanted to emphasize the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest, so the Sea to Sky gondola in Squamish was the perfect choice! It offers such a stunning setting with a view of both mountains and ocean. After a long winter, I wanted to create photos that felt like springtime in the mountains. We put together a team of talented vendors from Toronto and Vancouver to help bring this vision to life.
You can’t get much more original a combination than the cultural blend of this Norwegian and Indian wedding. Set in the coastal town of Galveston, Texas, photographer, Endless Exposures gives us the inside perspective…
When I first heard from my bride Nadia and asked about her love story, she said “I’m a Texan, he’s Norwegian,..and we met and now live in NYC together!” Nadia’s Hotel Galvez had beautiful colors: pinks, golds, oranges, and greenery throughout her reception.. with Indian, Texas, and Norwegian traditions incorporated throughout the day. We absolutely adored her boho-chic lace dress from BHLDN that she paired with a baby’s breath floral crown by Island Flowers. You know it’s going to be a fantastic wedding when there’s not just one, but two wedding dresses. Nadia later changed into her Indian wedding attire to dance the night away with her groom on the colorfully lit up dance floor inside the Galvez’s Terrace Ballroom. The couple loved that the hotel had so much historical and romantic charm. Guests enjoyed cocktail hour in the beautiful Terrace Ballroom while the couple and family took their formal portraits. When the couple was introduced to the reception they were greeted with their closest family and friends to watch them stride into their first dance. They had a Polaroid guest book table setup that entertained guests the entire evening, along with an Anniversary box for everyone to write a note of well wishes, sealed tight untiltheir first anniversary. We made sure and snapped a Polaroid of the couple at the end of the night so they could join in on the festivities! I remember talking to Nadia in the hotel room while she was getting ready, and she had told me she wanted a beautiful, organic, and colorful wedding. Nadia got just that with the simplicity and airiness of everything from her beautiful gown, decorations, seagulls in the sky, air in the palm trees, and the sunset as they walked down the aisle.
