Eloping is always a great option to ensure tying the knot stays completely focused on the couple, and when the bride and groom do it in a fun way with a vintage camper and a vineyard instead of a casual contract at the courthouse, even better.  Here’s the story of this sweet couple and their Airstream elopement:

Mitchell and I have been together for over three years. We were introduced by lifelong friends that swore we were soul mates. Neither of us we really interested but nevertheless we gave in and went on our first date.
We couldn’t stop talking the whole night and the rest is history.
When it came time to plan our wedding we knew we wanted something small and incredibly intimate. We had long discussed getting married under a big tree somewhere just the two of us. So the decision was easy:  we would elope.
We currently live in southern California and both of our families are back in Washington. It was important for us to include them in some way so we decided to road trip from California to Oregon where we would say our vows and then celebrate in Washington with loved ones.
A cool little note… we began saving for our wedding in a Stoller wine bottle. When looking up potential locations we fell in love with a picture of a tree next to a vineyard. Only to find out soon after it was from the very same place, Stoller Family Estate. This was the beginning of things falling perfectly into place, as we would soon discover the Vintages and an incredible photographer we found on their blog. Our luck continued as overnight rain and 100% chance of precipitation on our wedding day turned into sunshine and blue skies.
Our day was truly perfect and we are so happy we decided to elope. We look forward to renewing our vows many times over our lifetime. Maybe the next wedding will be a huge bash with all of our friends and family.
