Here TMInspired Photography explains the inspiration for their color trend workshop:
I held a workshop for photographers in Southern California to help guide them towards their ideal clientele, and focused on my favorite thing: chasing after love and light with clients. We talked about setting up a styled shoot, and of course had one set up with lots of pretty details for the photographers to build their portfolio. I love to bring out genuine emotion from the couples I work with, so there is a lot of movement, laughter, and having them look at each other instead of me. I always look for a real couple who is deeply in love with each other for styled shoots, and strive to make every shoot feel like a date night (even one happening in a middle of a workshop).
For this shoot, we used the Pantone Colors of 2016, Rose Quartz and Serenity, as the decor inspiration.  The Bride wore a strapless wedding gown in blush, and her bouquet used just the right amount of Pantone colors to compliment the dress.  Even the chairs at the sweetheart table were just the right hue. To capture lots of fun poses, the couple went exploring in the hill tops. It was an overcast day, so it called for lots of snuggles and little kisses. They danced together in the tall grass. He hummed a tune in her ear as they swayed. As it became dusk, the sky took part in our pale pink and periwinkle colored day.
