Bridal Fashion 1990-Now | by Amand Hein Photography | www.smittenmagazine.com We have reached the final installment of our fabulous century of bridal fashion.  Here are the first and second in case you missed them.  Huge round of applause to Amanda Hein, Hello Darling and their fabulous team!  And enjoy the last three decades: the 90s, Y2K, and today…

From Hello Darling – “Our 90s bride channels the Vogue supermodel, grunge-glam, laid back, indie vibe of the time. She rocks a flowing floral dress (The Matilda), sans shoes, with layered pearls, Chanel-esque chains and rhinestones, and black lace gloves. Her makeup is soft and natural, letting her full, curly mane be the statement. Her wild flower inspired bouquet of bright gold yarrow, hot pink roses, and purple and black anemone, is part of her 90s “more is more” attitude. We picture her and her groom riding off into the sunset on a motorcycle, tossing her bouquet off the Brooklyn Bridge.”

“Our Y2K bride welcomes the new millennium, bringing with it the softer, sweeter side of fashion. She’s ethereal, wearing, The Fabienne, a light, lacy, lingerie-inspired gown with flirty pumps while floating in front of a vintage gold frame backdrop. Her makeup and hair are both elegant and effortless and she sparkles with a honey hued crystal jewelry set. Her bouquet is simple and classic, a clean pave of peonies and roses, dotted by delicate orlaya and tied with a satin band.”Bridal Fashion 1990-Now | by Amand Hein Photography | www.smittenmagazine.com Bridal Fashion 1990-Now | by Amand Hein Photography | www.smittenmagazine.com Bridal Fashion 1990-Now | by Amand Hein Photography | www.smittenmagazine.com Bridal Fashion 1990-Now | by Amand Hein Photography | www.smittenmagazine.com Bridal Fashion 1990-Now | by Amand Hein Photography | www.smittenmagazine.com Bridal Fashion 1990-Now | by Amand Hein Photography | www.smittenmagazine.com

“Our final decade of bridal style is every bit as glamorous as it is natural. Our bride is a total goddess, with a plunging back, lace sheath gown (The Alexis) and “something blue” shoes.  She carries a loose, flowing bouquet of butter yellow stock, blue love-in-a-mist, jasmine vine, bells of Ireland, olive, and delphinium, tied with flowing hand-dyed silk and ivory organza. Her hair is dappled by sweet jasmine and love-in-a-mist blossoms while she lounges across an absolutely dreamy sapphire blue velvet daybed.”
